I came here thinking it would be a good place to talk to people directly—at the gas station, in the parking lot, or by talking to truck drivers—and it really is. But I was literally stuck here for four hours, asking people if they were heading to Germany—ideally Nürnberg. Everyone said no; they were either full or only going to nearby villages (even the truck drivers here didn't want to pick anyone up). Fortunately, the last driver was heading to Domažlice, which was a salvation for me at that moment.―Sova

There is a small gas station and many german drivers go there to buy much cheaper czech cigarettes and other goods so if you go in the direction of Germany, you can thump up them or ask right on that gast station.―Anonymous

Nice spot with moderate car traffic and theres a place to stop. Some CZE drivers driving to home from work (Plzeň) and some of GER drivers drive out for cheap alcohol and cigarettes near borders presumably, so I recommend someone who will take you directly in some bigger city. Its nice city, I recommend take a rest here, small so 1 hrs. should be ok to see all of stuff here.―Anonymous

It's a pretty good spot. Got a ride after a couple of minutes with a Praha sign. The traffic is not extremly heavy, and there is a place for cars to stop.―Juhfej

Realy nice place to hichike. Everyone goes to the germeny bcs the road dosent go enywhere els. This spot is just behind start of the vilige so cars must slow down and last there is a lot of space for cars to pull over.―Sova
